"WaterWays"

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

From my Jekyll Island trip. Simple image and this is the way I saw it. And wrote a piece of music to go with it. Old School B&W look. I have realize how simple I see things. A place in time and a simple place to go to. I am going to work on Wide Angle Photography.

Specific Feedback

The framing is my vision. No cropping and very little editing. Kept it simple and decided to post it for thoughts on Wide Angle Photography.

Technical Details

ISO 500 Shutter 1000. f11 edit in Photoshop. Convert to B&W. Some dodging and contrast. But kept everything simple !!! Very little editing.

Lots of great leading lines in this image, Gill. The shadows of the bridge supports actually offer a little relief from the pure flow of the image from bottom to top, which I find interesting.

Thanks. That Bridge is highly photographed. I decided before I left to shoot it from the access road … Just so simple and different from other images. I will be working on Wide Angle Photography this summer. Maybe a series on bridges. Thanks for showing interest.
