Critique Style Requested: Standard

Description

I wasn’t familiar with birds eating this kind of prey until I witnessed this ibis. The locals said it was some kind of saltwater worm. Seen on Wildlife Drive at Ding Darling NWR, Sanibel Island, FL the end of January.

Interesting, Allen. I never heard of one, but that doesn’t mean much. Great shot of the Ibis, and that prey is really neat. Reflection is excellent.

Love the reflection, the colors, and of course the catch!

Alllen, this is great! I love these goofy-looking birds and their bright blue eyes. Excellent pose, detail, and reflection and that wrapped-around worm is sweet icing. sounds as if you had a wonderful trip! Lots more images coming, I hope!

Fine look at the Ibis; whites look good as does the reflection. Nice action shot.

Allen, this is really good. The Ibis and prey are exposed nicely. The reflection is a nice bonus. I haven’t heard of a saltwater worm either. I can’t think of anything that would improve this shot. Well done.

Interesting capture, Allen. I have also not heard of a salt-water worm before. Exposure looks very good and your composition with the reflection is excellent.
