I got this White Pelican shot a while back up at the Tulelake National Wildlife Refuge using my D500, Nikon 2-500 lens, hand held, 1/3200th, f/5.6, 500mm, ISO 220, cropped to 5416 x 3218, AI Clear.

Nice takeoff action shot. Exposure looks good as does detail in the larger version.
A great action shot, Dave. The leg position and body angle make it look like he just tripped and is about to fall on his face. Excellent detail.
