The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

In Botswana this male went for a bit of a wander, looked around and then went and laid down. So not all that exciting. I like this pose with the wind blowing the mane.

Technical Details

Nikon D300s. Nikkor 200-400 + 1.4TC @ 550mm. ISO 3200, F8, 1/750s.
DXO Pure RAW for noise, PS for contrast, cropping, vignette etc. Silver Efex for B&W.

This is just an awesome image Mark. He has such a huge head, and the detail in his mane is great. I usually don’t like BW, but this really works in BW.

The composition and excellent detail in the face demand attention and respect. I think the B&W adds to the drama.
