The Willson’s Snipe in a tree explains the camera angle. The shot has good eye contact and feather detail.

Interesting place to find a snipe for sure, Allen. Feather detail is excellent. While the angle isn’t the best for a conventional image, it helps convey where the snipe is and is worth it for that.

Hi Allen, nice catch that shows the bird fully out in the open. Quite unusual. Nice feather detail and I like the open beak.
