Hi David. I believe this is a Yellow Warbler, not a Wilson’s which has the little black cap. I really like the action pose of the second image and the first is classic warbler. Well done.

Dennis

I’m not sure which of us is correct about the ID. But here’s some pages from Sibley.

Lovely capture of a lovely little bird – whatever it is! These didn’t need any manipulation – perch and BG are wonderful in both, as is the detail on the bird and the poses.

Diane

Thanks for the follow up on my images of the yellow birds whatever they are.

I am having the same problem with my laptop as with my desktop. Neither the lasso of tool or the rectangular tool work in doing selections.

I did some of the tutorials and I got it to work using the tutorials but I think they’re designed that way that is the tutorials. Anyhow, Dennis is gonna come over on Friday and we’re gonna try to figure it out..

Yes, the lasso tool and the rectangular selection tool both work, but not as I expect, and directly selecting the outlines of the images that are inside the tools.

It may have something to do with the settings I’m using. I’m gonna try to call Adobe again and see what they have to say about this.

Yeah, I’m rather frustrated about it, especially since it’s two computers with the same problem on the same software. I also have a beta version of Photoshop, but it also does the same thing.

Very weird!

David

Beautiful images David. Sharp where they need to be. Lovely poses, perch and background.

Allen

Thanks for the feedback on my images. I always appreciate hearing from you and Dennis. You did a pretty nice job yourself on the latest green Heron images. Nice and sharp. Interesting and pleasing poses.
