Hi @Ben_van_der_Sande, great minimal and intimate shot? I have a question for you. I usually see centered composition for this kind of image. Can you explain me your compositional choice? Thank you.
Agree with all about a very successful minimalist image. I too am curious about the placement of the two elements, especially the tree, fairly far to the right. I’m not saying you shoulda done a rule of thirds approach, but the tension of the right tree in particular is interesting to me. With that said, the excellent use of negative space here does create balance.
I usually am not a big fan of negative space, but it’s use in this image has won me over. If you wanted a textbook example of how to make creative use of negative space, you couldn’t do any better than using this image for illustration. Congratulations Ben this image is stunning
