The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
We had an ice storm this morning and off and on freezing rain with some melting produced a reptilian scale-like texture to the ice.
Specific Feedback
How do you like the comp? This was originally a horizontal comp and the tighter crop provides a more abstract feel to the image.

Jim: Brrrrrrr Were you naughty this year so that Santa brought you an ice storm for Christmas ? Wonderful find and I like the comp just fine. The rendering of the BG through the stack works really well for me as well. As one who would rather sweat than shiver I’m glad it was you having the opportunity. But at least you took full advantage of it. Most excellent. >=))>
Jim, I love this image, including the composition, though I might have tilted it just slightly more to the right. There’s so much texture in the ice itself, captured beautifully. Winterberry is photogenic no matter what, but this elevates the fruit to a new level!
The comp works for me, Jim and the scaled ice is really cool. I don’t recall ever seeing it look like that. Since you’re posting I assume you didn’t lose power for too long.
