Description
Here’s another view from Wood Frog mating season. In this case the waves from another frog calling are rolling in on this guy, whose busy watching the pond edge, hoping for a female to jump in…
Specific Feedback
I like the “real” frog mixed with the abstraction of the waves, the colors from below and the sheen on the water.

Another gorgeous frog in the pond image, Mark. How do you get them to stay on the surface when you’re around? Ours disappear at the slightest movement.
Another nice frog photo, Mark. I like how the water looks almost plastic or as someone else said, metallic. The ripple of water from the other frog is really a nice feature. Very nice shot.
Dennis, I approach very slowly, often on hands and knees. If I spook the frogs, it takes 15 - 20 minutes of sitting quietly before they start to resurface and begin to call.
Beautiful image Mark. Love seeing the frog on top and partially submerged in that interesting water (also love seeing the reflections on the water like this). Quite captivating - well done.
This is really cool! I love how the frog blends in with its surroundings, but how its eye is still clear and in focus. I can’t think of any improvements. Really well done!
