Taken several days ago at a local NWR.
It was quite cooperative although it moved very quickly and didn’t stay still. It was hanging out on trees with a lot of small branches. I did some cloning on the branches to make the image less distracting.

Iso-500, 500 mm 5.6 PF plus extender at 700 mm, F8, 2500th, handheld, 60% of full frame, Adobe camera raw 11.2, Topaz adjust, TK sharpening action at 5%

Hi David,
I like seeing the yellow rump and we have a clear view of this guy after your cloning work. Nice placement of the subject in the frame. A nice “in the wild” catch.

That new lens is looking pretty good, David. Very nice detail in the Butterbutt. I’d probably have gotten carried away and kept on cloning, but I think this works.
