Yellow Warbler

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I think this is a fairly nice look at the warbler and I like the singing pose. For my taste the branch is too vertical and in front of the warbler.

Specific Feedback

Any thoughts appreciated.

Very nice singing pose, Allen. I agree that it would be nice if the perch sere behind the bird. As for beinv vertical, some birds actually seem to have a preferance for vertical perches. I’ve seen that tendency in American Goldfinches.

HI Allen, really nice catch of this beauty. Love the singing pose and color. The perch isn’t ideal as you mention but this is still quite a pleasing image.

Lovely singing mage of this little beauty. Few things are “ideal” but still a very nice catch.
