The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This young hawk was being harassed by a crow over a local pond and decided to land in the snag right in front of me. It quickly decided I was too close and made the jump to another tree a little farther away.

Great timing!!! I don’t know how you feel about removing things, but if it were mine I might try to remove the branch that crosses his body on the lower left.
Hi Ed, nice pose with raised wings and I like the straight on look. Trying to remove the intersecting branch is a good idea as Elizabeth suggests. It would probably be pretty easy with the remove tool in Photoshop. Cloning in Elements would be a bit tougher. Still, a fine catch either way.
Nice timing on the hawk, Ed. You might remove the lone unattached branch from the bottom. I’d also consider removing a bit of canvas on the right and adding a touch on the left. Excellent detail.
Ed, nice pose from the hawk. Good suggestiond already. In addition, I might try to fix that left eye that is a little distracting, being dark and unclear.
I really appreciate your comments @elizabeth, @Allen_Sparks, @Dennis_Plank, @Allen_Brooks and @SandyR-B. I’m not really sold on changing out all the branches in this one, but I went ahead and reworked the image according to the suggestions I received. I do think it is a cleaner image overall.
