Description
I got less photography done this year than I would have liked. The images in this group come from two separate groups: A “Spring Colors” group, with trees showing their early spring colors (an unfinished project I hope to continue working on), and some images from a trip to Mount Rainer National Park in the Fall.

Hi Will,
This is a wonderful set of favorites you have for the year 2024. I particularly like your spring colors series as they portray that short window of time where the colors seem so delicate and in some cases just as vibrant as those in the fall. One and two are my favorites with # four close behind as they represent that fleeting transition beautifully. I hope you keep working on that spring color project. Your Mount Rainer images are also quite nice with the first being my favorite. The light on the mountain is lovely and the fog sets the mood.
Will, I really love your Marmot King - what a regal stare! I might crop a bit from the right to get him a bit closer, but otherwise his position on the throne is great.
Will, the spring colors series is lovely. You’ve done a great job of filling the frame with subtle colors and shapes in interesting configurations. I also think the Marmot view is outstanding in capturing both the Marmot and how it interacts with its environment.
Will: We see so many fall color shots that we often forget that there are some nice color opportunities in the spring. You’ve captured that really well. Your Rainier shots are special too. I’ve only been there once and had way too little time to explore. Marvelous collections both. >=))>
Nice work. I especially like your spring colors group. The first is my favorite. Of your Rainier photos “Another Face of Rainier” is my favorite . Okay, okay, that royal marmot guy is pretty special, but I like that you presented a different view of Rainier.
