I don’t have any images that I would call favourites, but I have learnt so much from each and every posting that I’ve made. The suggestions and helpful comments are so much appreciated.
What a great collection of images Glenys. I especially love the photos of the bats. I remember seeing one of those huge bats hanging from a tree above me while dining outdoors when I visited Australia in 2015. So impressive. What kind of bird is in the fourth photo? It looks like the head of a vulture, but the body is different.
You certainly had a good year, Glennie. These are all very well done, and I’ve seen a lot more of yours that could very well fit in this category. The landscape image you started off with is gorgeous.
Hi Glenys,
This is a lovely mix of images from 2025. I love the clean BG’s on the three avian images; particularly # 6; as it focuses all the attention on those wonderful birds. Very nicely done!
Glennie, this is a fine collection. I remember a few of them, but some others are new. I enjoy all of them. The opening view stands out because of the amazing rock wall in the back. It has a very painterly look with its hues and stripes. I also find the b&w trees interesting because it’s not clear if it was a camera movement shot or if itt was raining very hard. That makes for fun viewing.
A great image collection, I like all of them! It is hard to chose a favourite one but, I have to say that I like the first one a lot (the colors, the composition and the light).
Glenys: I love the diversity of images you’ve collected which demonstrates a high level of divergent skills and vision. Delightful collection and I’m looking forward to all you bring to us in 2026. >=))>
@Ted_Forman the bird is a Noisy Friarbird. It’s actually a rather large-ish honey eater and has the most beautiful variety of song from cackles to yodelling.
What a wonderful year you’ve had Glennie! Your images really make me want to wander to your neck of the woods some day, especially your bird images. Thanks for sharing, and Merry Christmas!
