I was able to get up close and personal with this juvenile Bald Eagle while it was feeding on a salmon carcass. When the only part that was left was the tail that was too tough to tear apart, it didn’t want to leave it so it tried to swallow it whole. It failed at this attempt but I have more photos of a successful attempt.
