Abstract #4, Hieroglyphics

Walking to a restaurant on one of our travels somewhere, I found this on a junked 55-gallon drum alongside a railroad track running through the middle of a small town. I found it intriguing. My husband was trying to pretend he wasn’t with me.

Yes, it’s an intriguing bit of “ancient history”. The location description sounds like it could be Livingston MT.

It probably could, but it was Tehachapi, CA. (There are quite a few places it could have been…) I blew through Livingston a few years ago and need to see if I have any gems from there. Is that the place with the Used Cow Lot?

It looks like the plate/sign is embedded in the rust. Quite a cool scene. I would have been preoccupied with it too, and my wife would be sitting in the car, bored. :grinning:
