The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This tiny, colorful moth was once native to Florida and south Texas. But now, it has spread north as the moth began to use tree of heaven as a larval food source. This one was found nectaring on Solidago canadensis.
Specific Feedback
I tweaked down the cyan quite a bit and am wondering if more is needed.

Great handling of the focus, colors and composition. I have seen similar looking insects, but not with the same coloring or patterns. (They are mostly black with red). We do have Trees of Heaven (considered a nuisance), but wonder if our Eastern Washington weather would keep these insects from surviving here. Cyan: It looks fine to me, but my old lap top monitor may not be showing the same color you see.
The colors and details shine very well here, Jim. I don’t really see any changes needed. The composition and how well the colors blend together came out very well
Jim I really like how the bright colors of the moth play off the yellow blooms. The contrast between the intricate patterns on the moth and the sea of golden flowers really draws the eye. It’s a beautiful example of how nature’s palette can create its own harmony.
You’ve nailed the sharpness on the moth, especially around the antennae and legs. The focus pulls us right to the fine details, and the soft blur in the background helps isolate the subject nicely.
Regarding the cyan tweak, it looks like you’ve balanced it well. There’s no distracting cool tint that might throw off the overall warmth.
What a beauty, Jim. I don’t think I have ever seen one of these. Maybe it is located on the western part of the US only. The colors look good to me. I can’t think of anything that could improve this shot.
I love the colours and they look just fine to me. Odd bug - I’ve never seen one of these. Nice detail, horizontal pose, and set off perfectly by the yellow flowers.
