Description

One of the things I love about streams and rivers is seeing the changes they go through, both over time with flood and drought, different light, the seasons, as well as in the flow itself, from the fast-moving current, to the ripples, to the quiet backwaters. This was in the latter, a place that also found a lovely mix of light and dark. Looking back in LR, I see I made 70 exposures in the fifteen minutes I was at this spot, this just one of several I very much enjoy seeing.

Love the negative space on the right, and the way the strong contrast gives a sort of discrete, line drawing look to the ripples, especially in the center of the image. The textural details on the left are also delightful to get lost in.
