Nursing Fur Seal pup,
Kaikoura, New Zealand South Island

These are the only seals with little ear flaps
I liked the little strand of seaweed hanging on the pup’s back flipper

The fur of these seals is quite thick and shaggy, and may appear over-sharpened when wet.

Cool behaviour shot nicely taken, although I wish for a lower POV.
Interestinly the color pallette of Seal and the BG is same but there is good amount of seperation.
May work well as B&W.

Unfortunately, the rocks with the seals are considerably below the only viewing area, and it’s impossible to get closer or lower. I wish!
