Image Description

We went to a nearby state campground on the ocean for a few days this week and I started noticing the patterns made by the beach grass in the sand. I ended up photographing a bunch of them. This was the most complex with the most grass blades in one smallish area.

I increased the contrast and texture in LR to help bring out the patterns. Not enough? Too much?

Pertinent Technical Details

Sony A7Rv, FE 70-200 f/4 Macro at 71 mm, 5 image panorama stitched in LR. All images at f/22, 1/1000, iso 4000. No noise reduction. Used content aware fill to fill in both upper corners since the pano was in an arc to follow the pattern.

Dennis, a bit different and an item many of us would miss for sure. In the end, looks like nature has taken the opportunity here to provide us with some of it’s brush strokes on it’s own personal canvas… :+1: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
I might go a little more on the contrast for a look see…

Thanks, @Paul_Breitkreuz I was wondering about the contrast and how far I could push it. Unfortunately, we slept in this trip for some reason and the sun was higher than I would have liked.

Dennis, the details in the pano look good and it shows off the wind’s tracks well. Yes these are fun, sometimes you can find a complete circle.
