Questions to guide your feedback

In May I was in Shenandoah National Park, and on this particular evening I decided to try some backlighting images. I typically do not do any backlighting images unless I am doing silhouettes. Just thought I would get an initial reaction to this backlighting of the mountains.

I love how the sun is peaking in from the top, and the sky all warm with sunset. As a backlit image, it seems a bit dark? I wonder if you brought up the highlights of the middle band of trees a bit to emphasize that backlit feeling, allowing the rest of it to remain dark-ish. Really like the light on the rock that’s positioned well - off center. It’s a beautiful scene that makes me wish I was there…

Lori, this looks great. I like how there’s a nice, lower left towards the upper right and then back to the top left eye movement. The long distance, with many layers view also looks good. Finally, the subtle crepuscular rays in the upper right are a good extra.

Thank you very much, Connie! I really appreciate your comments. I was wondering if maybe a little dark. I will have to give bringing up the highlights in the middle band of trees. Once again, I really appreciate your comments.

Thank you so very much, Mark! i really do appreciate your comments.
