In the edit, besides toning down the bright area on the head, I also toned down the sky as suggested and though not mentioned, toned down the brightness of the tree limb.
Nice job toning down the perch and the eagle, Chris. I think Iām seeing a very slight red fringe on top of the head that you might want to work on. To my eye, the sky still seems a bit surreal, but that might just be me being used to our pale northwestern skies.
I went back into the raw file and double checked my chromatic aberration and red was not in the mix, so suspect it is due to the internet compression and that this was a fairly large crop. As to the sky, this is what we see on those spring cloudless skies.
