Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

While visiting the famous Athabasca Falls in the Canadian Rockies, I chose to step to the other side of the path and this view greeted me. The power of the river has carved a deep and narrow canyon through the rocky land.

Technical Details

Sony a1, Tamron 28-70 lens, handheld. Processing in Lightroom - cropping, some basic adjustments to highlights and shadows.

Joey: I love this side of the falls as well and think you’ve captured it nicely. I especially like the color of the water. Nicely composed and captured. >=))>

Nice look down the gap Joey. I love the glacier blue rivers up there. The mosses and lichens add some nice accents to this image too. It is amazing what water will do with a little bit of mineral carving material in it.

This is a really gorgeous picture. I love the color combination - the blue, green, brown and white. I love how my eye is directed into the canyon and the frame and the shapes are just amazing. Really nice.

Joey, this does a fine job of showing off the amazing erosion, the turquois (from suspended silt) waters of glacial melt water and some fine fall colors.
