Description:

Baltimore orioles are bringing their kids for the grape jelly brunch special. This youngster is giving the feed me call while dad loads up on jelly. Overall, I wish that I had more room in the frame and had to prune out some unsightly branches and bump up the shadows a bit.

D850 600mm f4 (1/640 sec at f8, ISO 1600) Topaz DeNoise AI, Levels, Brightness & Contrast and tweaked up white balance for shade, crop for comp, rubber stamp for stick removal.

Gorgeous little bird, Jim. And expertly captured as well. Wonderful background. I would consider cloning out the couple of feathers sticking out of the head. Excellent.

Beautiful light, detail and background, Jim. If you want more room, I think you can pull the bottom up just past the stick end and add canvas on top to go to a 4x5 vertical. I think the upright posture of the bird would support that comp.

I really like it as is. Wonderful color,detail, and background. Really looks different from the adult.
