Starting to look like spring in this image, Dave. Your smaller aperture really worked with the surrounding blossoms. Very well done.
Nothing I love more than small birds in floral environments. Like @Dennis_Plank, I think this image screams Spring and I am ready for Spring. I really enjoy the fine feather details of the bird, it is a nice contrast to the “soft” (not in the sense of acuity) feeling from the flower. I think you could bring down the sharpening a touch lower. We do have some sweet light here in California (except when it’s cloudy!).
