Description
This is an image from a frosty day at the end of December in Vienna Woods, Lower Austria. The last sunlight hit just the delicate twigs and made for a specific warm an comforting glow for me.

It’s beautiful. Not sure I’d change a thing. But maybe a bit of darkening of the background, the lower rh corner is a touch brigher than the rest. But honestly it doesn’t matter, it’s fine how it is.
I like how the bright branches are in the upper half-ish of the image, they’re lifting up, not being grounded. It floats. I also like the bit of greenery in the background, just a touch of a different texture to keep the eyes interested.
Hi Peter,
This is flat out gorgeous! The warm light kissing the tops of those trees contrasts beautifully the the rest of the cooler blue tones in this woodland scene. The large version has a lot of details to savor with all of those snow covered limbs filling up the frame. I only have one small suggestion; and this is being real nit picky; but I could see cropping that larger tree poking in along the left edge of the frame as it does catch my eye a little. Beautifully done.
This looks like frozen flames. I love how the warm branches contrast with the cold frozen branches surrounding them. The texture throughout is fantastic. You had remarkable light
I love the pine tree in the URC catching and holding some snow. Sensational image, Peter! I wouldn’t change anything.
