Of His Skin

While snooping around in the garden today I spotted this anole shedding his skin. I got two usable shots while he scampered from the fence to the oleanders. Would have preferred more DOF but these were essentially grab shots and I was glad to get the eye sharp. All comments welcome. >=))>
Wow. Really neat behavior shots. I would think you might have been surprised to catch the anole shedding.
Nice and sharp where they need to be and nicely exposed. . The anole looks alert but nice and calm.
Oh wow, Bill, this is really cool. I didn’t even realize that they did shed their skin, so for you to have caught this behavior is really nice. Nice details where it needs to be.
Bill, the first shot works very well. The greens (leaves and anole) look great. The details in it’s head and eye as well as underside of that lower leaf stand out well. The curve of the anole and the leaf it’s resting on make a nicely dynamic view. Shot 2 is good for a chuckle (poor critter caught while undressing… ), showing off the shedding skin well.
Very cool anole image!!!
Hi Bill,
Both shots are nice. I like the second one better than your first one. Now for the first one, if you came in closer and just got the head peaking out from behind the leaf would be perfect. .,.,.,…Jim
Hi Bill, nice grab shots for sure showing this behavior. I like the second one best as well with the unobstructed view and the pattern showing on the back.
