Glennie, this looks like a great place to explore (getting your feet wet or with some extra foot protection). The clouds and mist in the distance add to a very inviting (and cool) feeling. I’m going to speculate that the brightness in the front center is dodging. If so, maybe a bit of dodging of the taller plants just below center might add to the invitation to explore. The greens and water at the bottom are lovely.

Thanks Mark! You have made a very good suggestion. Lightening up the middle taller plants would certainly draw the viewer into the image a tad more.

Wonderful mysterious light and a very nice scene! It’s a bit of a puzzle to wonder what the scale is – how big are the plants? No need to have a clue – the mystery is part of the charm. @Mark_Seaver has a good suggestion for lightening the middle ground plants.
