Curves and Drops

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This is a close-up look at a the curved side of a Pickerall Reed leaf as it caught some sun the morning after a rain. I was attracted to the mix of curved lines from the leaf’s veins and the remaining drops.

Specific Feedback

This is a nearly life size view, that needed 119 shots to get full frame sharpness.

Technical Details

R5, 180mm macro, 1/125 s, f/8, iso 800, tripod

Amazing shapes and the drops are a wonderful touch! Gives the Warp Tool something to aspire to. Great seeing and capture!

Wow, I like the curved lines and the 3d appearance of this image. Stacking came out very well and this one is special. Awesome…Jim

A beautiful view, Mark, and the black BG was for sure the way to go. Such intricate stacking brings out the 3D effects of that curve perfectly.
