Canon 5ds-r with 100x400x1.4 lens at 3.5, 1/1000sec. and iso 400. Used Topaz for noise and sharping. Used PS to clone out some leaves and stems. Used PS paint to blend background.
Sorry no comments on this so far. Things just get away from us now and then.
I love the in focus flower. Especially with the goldenrod soldier beetle (Chauliognathus pennsylvanicus). The other though…I think it needs to either be as crisp as the other or more OOF and possibly cropped as to not take attention away from the star of your show.
Thanks Kristen, Agree on the second right hand flower. Was doubtful on the second in the beginning but left it in because of the interesting petal curls.
