I am a bit of a dandelion fan, so your photo has captured the default market! The pieces I really like are:-

The rhs highlights do not detract from the single seed focal point
You have used positioning well, so as to isolate the sharp single light seed against a darker background
The remainder of the image is a supporting act to the single seed and gives puff ball context

Well done

Another dandelionophile (!) here Rob and you’ve done a great job. I love the light on the right and it would be interesting to see if lifting the warmth a little across the whole image worked for you. A good take on this subject - well done :slightly_smiling_face:

Bill, this is lovely. It’s a fine mix of dreamy and real with the two sharp seeds anchoring the middle and the fine "fan’ shape.

Thank you Rob. I appreciate the feedback.

Thank you. Bill

Thanks Mark. Bill

Bill: Really good selective focus on the main subject and I like the light and color you have on the right side. The bunch on the left side does pull my eye and a crop making them go away works better for me. Just my 2¢. Overall very nicely conceived and executed.>=))>

This is the kind of photograph I only get to dream about, so let me simply say I love it!

Thank you Bill.

Thanks Tom.

This is beautifully done, Bill! This is absolutely just a nit, and something I would try if it was my image: I would bring up exposure just a tad, and lower the contrast just a little, which might give this image an even more dream-like effect. Stunning as is!
