Technical Details

Slight crop, modest global tonal corrections in LR and denoise there. That’s it. The BG is trees about 200-300 ft away.

Very nice job on this youngster, Diane. The perch works well and it gave you some very good poses. Processing and light look excellent.

This looks pretty good. But the first and third one’s the best but the second one isn’t bad. It doesn’t take too long for them to go from juvenile to adults. The backgrounds are excellent. The detail and poses are superb.

Very nice with excellent colors and detail. Your bird photos have ideal backgrounds and this one is of no exception. First one has that small bit of head turn that puts it over the others. Great series and now I know what a young junco looks like…….Jim

Thanks, @Dennis_Plank, @David_Schoen and @Jim_Zablotny! JIm, the first time I saw one I went “Whaaaaat!??”

This little bird has your signature all over it! Great bird, giving you wonderful poses on the end of that great perch. And, the background; just beautiful.

Really nice Diane. First image is definitely my fave. The soft colors here go so well together. I’ve never seen a juvie so this is a real treat.
