Panasonic GX85, 14-140mm lens taken at 140. f5.6, ISO 250, 1/1250, hand held. It was windy so I was happy to get something. I left the little bug on the yellow part - it doesn’t bother me but I could take it out. I find the straight brown shape behind the flower at the 10 o’clock position a little detracting. Thoughts? I don’t yet have the Lightroom skills to get rid of it. I tried to reduce exposure on that area and a few other things but I almost thought it emphasized it more.

Becky, a very nice image of this beauty. When I saw that you mentioned a bug that you left on it, I opened the image back up to large, and I had trouble seeing it, so it definitely isn’t an issue. I agree with Bill, the square crop works nicely.
Becky, this is a fine look, especially under the challenging conditions. The flower and background look just fine. If anything, I notice the slightly brighter stem coming in from the lower right, but it really doesn’t detract from the view.
I agree with everyone Becky - I think the crop is perfect for this image, and I only noticed the bug when I opened the image and looked very closely, so I would leave it there. The daisy pops against the background so beautifully that it’s all I noticed, so I think the background is just fine as it is. Well done!
