Delayed Gratification Revisited

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I had another session with our kalanchoe and this time was able to do a stack and position the camera for what I think is a better BG. >=))>

Specific Feedback

Responding to the desire for more room this is a slightly wider view. Also had to tame the bright red highlights underneath the bloom. Is this enough or should I go further?

Bill, an excellent image here. I don’t do much closeup / macro work so I can really appreciate the work put forth here overall. Can’t say I’ve ever seen this type of plant / flower. Seems like it enjoys the attention placed upon it with the gorgeous colors on display… :+1: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
At your suggestion, I could buy in on slightly more turn down on the reds in the BG just for another look maybe…

The texture in the leaves and their subtle colors are awesome, Bill. The little seed heads sticking our make the title fit like a glove.
