Description
Spent the middle part of the month in Oregon and got back last Wednesday. I’ve been buried at the office, proving that no good vacation goes unpunished. Yesterday while watering the garden Chrissy spotted this late blooming hibiscus and I couldn’t resist, especially after she had showered it.
Specific Feedback
I’m getting to where I’m enjoying this stacking stuff. Any obvious flaws?

Bill this nice portrait is the deserved award for this brave flower which still resists. Well captured and developed as is your custom. If I have to look for a flaw I would try to hide the piece of leaf in the TRC darkening or eliminating it. It catches my eye and without it the beutiful flower is more dominant.
Gorgeous detail in this hibiscus flower, Bill. I agree with Giuseppe on the upper right corner and I do think adding a touch of canvas on the top after that would make for a slightly nicer composition as it feels a bit crowded up there.
A bravelate blosson, indeed. Bill, I like your perspective and all the water dops. I don’t mind the URC, but that leaf in the upper LEFT doesn’t inspire me. I agree a bit more room on top would be nice.
This is a beautiful hibiscus blossom Bill. I love the wavy textures and the colors. I don’t have an issue with the extra leaves, but if you did darken the TRC a bit it wouldn’t hurt, and I agree with @Dennis_Plank about finding just a touch m ore room at the top. It doesn’t need much.
What a gorgeous flower and so well photographed! I would darken the UR corner with a gradient stopping short of the flower – then no need to clone or select if you preferred not to take the time. The small leaf in the UL shows a bit of motion blur – hard to avoid. It could be darkened or pruned. A gradient bur in the LR corner could add some elegance to an already-elegant image.
Great thoughts above Bill. I’ll echo that it is a real beauty; the colors are special. My only addition is that at full size (and on my monitor, which may be a part of the story) it seems ever so slightly over sharpened.
