I enjoy seeing birds from other parts of the world and this one is quite attractive. Nice detail and the fish is a bonus. The background works well. Nicely captured.

Bravo! Like Allen, I also really like seeing creatures from other countries and continents. This is a beauty and the catch a bonus. Judging by the uh, previous deposit, it seems this is a favorite perch. One of these days I’ll have to sit still long enough to catch one of our kingfishers.

Very nice species, which I have seen quite a lot while cycling through Thailand and Malaysia, but never had the chance of a decent shot. The bird’s colour matches nicely with the perch. Nice one ! Cheers, Hans

These are my birding nemesis…too fast, too small and ours just hate being around humans. Love this one!
