The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

An ICM from back in February – a folder I never bothered to really look at and discovered this one did feel worthwhile. The current severe clear (and very windy) weather is keeping me indoors – good time to delete files.

A single frame, almost nothing done in LR, a little low-opacity cloning and dodging done in PS. Cropped from the right side.

Great to see an ICM from you Diane! I’m really enjoying the simplicity of the colors, or color. The silver and black trunks contrast very well with the pretty pale blue. In fact I love the transition of light to shadow of the trio of trunks. You also have just the right of movement for a pleasing abstract.

The sprawling branches on the left actually add some character to this lovely scene.

Well done! And while I get the need for deleting files… I’m sure glad you didn’t delete this one!

I get more the feeling of a cold winters eve with one Diane. I love the warm and cool color contrast and all of the stick forms. Just the right amount of movement. Terrific light hitting the branches and tree trunks. NICE!

Love the colors and abstract quality to this one, Diane. As with one of Mark’s recent ICM images, I’m like the strands disrupting the vertical effect of movement. It reminds me of spanish moss, but the color palette is more chilly. So glad you didn’t delete this!

Thanks, @Marylynne_Diggs – every so often there is a good surprise in those B-rolls.

Hi Diane. I am a huge fan of ICM Photography. This is so good. A really nice softness in the color where nothing jumps out and it all blends together… I can see this one on the wall in your living room or a sunroom. … I LOVE the title also. The title and image go perfect together … AS ONE !!!

Thanks, @Gill_Vanderlip ! ICM is a skill and craft, and I’m delighted to occasionally succeed at it.
