Description
… or not. This recent shot is another of the very few single frame ICMs that I’m pleased enough with not to delete immediately. The ones I keep are usually for use layering with another.

Technical Details
This is basically the OTC version, with two small blank areas cloned over and the UL area lightened. Slight crop from the right.
This is quite nice, Diane. I like the flow in it and it has a bit of a puzzle with almost all the flow being on a diagonal but the upper fight corner looking purely vertical.
Thanks, @Dennis_Plank and @Don_Peters – and thanks, Don, for the EP! A lovely surprise! I think I should focus more on single-shot ICMs. I have been doing more vague ones for combining two (or more) layers. One difference is in shorter, more complex camera movements.
And now I’m thinking it’s improved with a little off the top:
Hi Diane. This image just popped up on my Laptop. What is OTC. I see it as ICM. Really interesting. Abstract to my eyes. Always looking at things different. Very Cool.
Thanks, @Dennis_Plank and @Gill_Vanderlip! Gill, I think I didn’t use the right term – I meant SOOC – straight out of the camera. Which, of course, is shorthand for straight out of whatever color and tonal profile the raw converter is set to.
Hi Diane
I am a big fan of ICM. Love your image and the bursts of light on the foliage. I do prefer the cropped version, it has a wintery feel to it. A bit like sleet or snow coming in on the diagonal.
