Image Description

I went on a photography trip this weekend to Reelfoot Lake in northwest Tennessee. There were many bald eagles to be seen. We witnessed this heron being knocked off his/her perch by a couple of eagles. Must be a territorial dispute. Unfortunately I did not catch the first point of impact between the birds but you do see the aftermath here.

Any input on story conveyed? I’m sure I could add some canvas on one or two of the images. Anything else?

Very nice series. Must have been fun to watch and shoot. There is so much going on in the frame that it is difficult to select an area of action to focus on. Nevertheless, great contextual shots.

A very nice series, Allen. I can’t think of any suggestions except I sure wish you’d gotten the initial contact as it would have had more impact as a story with that shot. Filling it in verbally helps, but it’s not the same thing as seeing it.
