Shore Acres is one of my favorite places on the Oregon Coast. I’ve been there for some spectacular surf shows and at quiet times when the sandstone cliff faces are exposed revealing wonderful colors and patterns. This was during a quiet time and inspired by the work of old time NPN master Anil Rao’s work with coastal rock abstracts. Please view large. All comments welcome. >=))>

That is some very cool stratigraphy, and those concretions are great. We’ve been past there a few times, but never stopped. It’s on my list now!

Gorgeous colors and texture Bill. I can see why you’d love visiting these cliffs, so many possibilities. Truly wonderful photo.

Pleasing color and diagonals. Well composed. Although I have driven by there, I have never stopped.

Bill, this certainly is reminiscent of Anil’s work. The mix of shapes and colors looks great. Well seen and very well composed.
