Emulating Anil

One of my favorite photographers from the old NPN was Anil Rao. His work with seaside rock forms was amazing. I found this scene at Shore Acres State Park on the Oregon Coast a number of years ago. A large print of this in my office garners a lot of compliments. All comments welcome. >=))>

Bill, this is very striking and quite dramatic. The variety of colors, shapes and textures is amazing. The details are excellent.

This has a great combination of both colours and three-dimensionality. Much to study in this!

Hi Bill, wow, lots variety to explore here! The colors are striking and seem unnatural. And then, all the different rock formations with lines and small protrusions of whatever. I’m certain it would take a geologist several pages to explain all this, ha ha. Oregon coast on what planet?

It looks like you’re looking down from on top of a cliff to the shore below… kind of like an arial shot.
