I was trying to make the small yellow flowers in the distant woods the background for this flower and wanted to get the bug that was crawling around on the flower. It took a lot of maneuvering and groveling around in the dirt! I also was playing around with aperture a lot to try to get details but also a blurred background. But I was happy that I got the background how I wanted and the bug came right on the tip of the petal! I know it’s not a genuine macro shot and maybe not as sharp as possible,but it’s the overall image I was trying for.

Really nice Vanessa. Focus looks spot on to me and lovely bg. The centered format works fine. I also like how you kept the one leaf on the stem in the photo.
