Description
Located a short distance from Yakima is a nice grove of aspens , oaks and cottonwoods. It is very pleasant to wander through them, although usually a bit wet and muddy. It is also somewhat difficult to use a tripod in some areas. Not only is fall beautiful, but also the rattlesnakes are headed for dens.
Hey Jim – The dark leaves and spidery branches among the bright yellow make the shot. Their crisp outlines give a 3D effect. Don’t know if anything could be done to make those white trunks pop a bit more.
Thats a nice canopy. I like the red leaves scattered throughout the yellow. I think it really adds interest to the photo. Hope the rattlers left you alone.
@james7@Cameron_Wilcox Thank you for your comments. No rattlers. White trunks? They took up the yellow and with my limited post processing abilities I do not know how to make them whiter. Good idea, though.
