Fall on the Yellowstone 2

Here’s a second view of the fall Cottonwoods being reflected in the Yellowstone River where again, I was enjoying mixing in a bit of reality with the abstract reflections. (R5, 24-105 @ 105, 1/40 s, f/16, iso 400, tripod)

Again, yellow in nature is always an immediate draw for me, Mark. This scene is no exception to that genre. Plenty easy to make out the main objects, but the slightly distorted view works very well here… :sunglasses:

Terrific colors and reflection, Mark. As @Paul_Breitkreuz says, the yellow really stands out. Nice!

This one works really well, Mark. The abstract view is anchored nicely by the underwater rocks. Excellent take on Yellowstone autumn.

This is very nice Mark. The slight rippling of the trunks and autumn leaves looks just perfect to me and as Harley noted the rocks really add to it. Lovely. Cheers

I love this one so much! It looks like you really work to nail the exposure to get the exact effect that you wanted to in regards to a painterly affect!
