On Aug. 1 at 7:18 AM, I was in the Zodiac photographing a group of Egrets, when the Big Blue popped out of the reeds and flew by me. The shot was taken on the One Mile River Old lyme, Ct.

Canon R5, Sigma 150-600mm, f7.1, 451mm, -1Ev, ISO 500. The shot was cropped by 55% in DXO Photo Lab4.

I like the blocks of rectangular areas in the frame. The heron is intent on reaching its destination. Jim’s suggestion for a slight rotation is all that this one needs. …Jim
