Female Gray Fox

A little shy, but still curious about that human aiming that contraption at her.

Hello Terry

What a beautiful fox, coming from Belgium I had never seen this kind before. I don’t know the circumstances of the shot, but if possible I would have lowered myself slowly to take a more eye to eye approach. This would also have made the background blurrier and the fox stand out more. Of course, maybe you tried and she ran away, that’s also possible

Grt, Ingrid.

Hi, Ingrid.

Thank you! They are beautiful animals. I was standing on my deck, which is about 12 feet in the air when I saw her. This was the only shot possible. But thank you for the suggestion, and thank you for viewing my photo.

Best,
Terry

Hi Terry, I would agree with Ingrid …but if that was the only shot available, then well done.

Hi, Ryan, and thanks. I may be able to get a better angle another day as these foxes hang around my property regularly.
