Gorgeous!! Panning with the wave motion worked very well! The SS is just right to leave some lovely detail int he breakers and a gorgeous softness to the rest of the water. The sky adds a lovely complementary color.
The “flow” is perfect. It shows movement, yet is slow enough to create wonderful lines and textures. The gorgeous pink sky provides a nice contrast to the blue water. This image seems well composed to me.

I really love it. The lines in the water make them seem almost like dunes. It creates this power in stillness with is quite stunning. The combination of the blues, whites and pinks is really appealing. Wonderful.

Michael, the contrast between the moving blue water and the pastel pink sky is excellent. The “flow” in the water is wonderful.
The complementary colors really make this image something special. Add to that the fine balance of wave shapes and the peaceful mood created by the slow shutter speed and you’ve got a real winnner. I’m curious whether you did something in post to bring out the texture in the water. I love it. I might have stood there looking out at the same scene and not seen a potential picture, but you brought home an excellent image.
