This felt like flowing water to me rather than sand (this is at White Sands National Park).

The grasses show up very well against the rippled sand, Debbie. While it was probably not possible, getting the sand ripples to fill the frame would have been a good improvement. BTW, it looks like you posted two photo on the same day. NPN has asked that we limit ourselves to one post per day.

@Mark_Seaver Oh - sorry about that! Thanks for the advice, I don’t think I have a better shot of these ripples and plant.

I just now checked you image folder and saw this image. I really like it. The simplicity and the Tone really speaks to me. B&W photography is my favorite and I think you captured your vision. In photoshop you might burn the ripples a little… Thats just an idea… Its really nice just like it is … Well Done … How do you like Silver Efex. Thinking of getting the software as a plugin.
