Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I took this at whitewater Draw and saw these 2 well focused on something. I look for this kind of photo when 2 of the same are looking at something.
Specific Feedback
I think I am ok with the birds in the upper right corner as it adds to the environment. Not sure about the weed to the left of the bird on the left

Canon R5 ii with RF 200-800 at 800mm 1/2500 f/11 ISO 1600 HH
Excellent image quality, Dean. the detail in both cranes is superb which is often difficult with two birds. I don’t mind the ducks in the upper right or the weeds. I do wish the heads of the cranes weren’t just above the water line, but it’s hard to get good image quality jumping up to get more height.
Thanks for the feedback @Dennis_Plank I’m still learning more about bird photography, and this is good to know because in the future if I have a chance to be able to shift my position a little bit, then I can get a better photo. Thanks for the tips.
Excellent detail, Dean, in both cranes. I like the ducks; adds to the environmental feel of the image, as do the weeds.
