Frosty Grass

Description

This was taken at the Lower Klamath NWR a couple of years back. I liked the wet grasses as the frost started melting off of them.

Canon 5DMiii, f20, 1/200s, iso 200, =0.7ev, 24-105 lens at 58 mm. Cropped to about 50% of original frame.

This is an interesting idea, I like the variety of colors in the grasses with the frost and t he patterns. Maybe it is my eyes, but I am questioning if the grasses are completely in focus?

It is interesting as is, but I’m thinking it would be a really nice foreground for a wide angle shot if there was anything else in the scene.

I think you are right @elizabeth. I hadn’t noticed that the primary focus seems to be back in the middle grasses and the front grass with the frost are a bit soft.
